Rose-Marie Arcanger is the CEO and an executive member of the Board of Directors of Scottish Widows Europe, a Luxembourg life insurance company in run-off with branches in Germany and Italy, belonging to the Lloyds Banking Group. She is also an independent member of the Board of Directors and audit committee of CNP Luxembourg, a Luxembourg life insurance company. 

French and Luxembourg qualified lawyer with expert level re/insurance legal, corporate governance and regulatory skills, Rose-Marie has significant experience of governing bodies and regulatory interactions, as CEO, member of executive teams and company secretary of large reinsurance and insurance carriers, as well as executive board member and legal entity officer for a number of Luxembourg subsidiaries. She has strong leadership skills and experience in leading multi-jurisdictional teams and complex M&A and intra-group projects. 

Rose-Marie is a Certified Director of the Luxembourg Institute for board members (ILA) and alumni of the international Directors Programme of INSEAD. She is a member of the insurance committee of ILA and a member of the international life insurance commission and various working groups of the Luxembourg insurance association (ACA). 

Rose-Marie holds a Master I and LLM in French and German laws and a Master II in business laws and economy laws from the University of Paris I-Pantheon-Sorbonne.
