Record turnout at ILA & PwC Annual Fund Day
More than 200 people registered for the Annual Fund Day held at PwC’s offices, said the event host Mike Delano, Chair of the ILA Investment Fund Committee. A record number of directors were keen to attend the eleventh edition of this event to hear about the latest fund governance trends, including three panels featuring senior CSSF managers.
Carine Feipel, ILA’s Chair started proceedings with a roundup of news, including a reminder of the launch last year of the ILA Fund Governance Masterclass. She also mentioned the digital transformation on-going at the association, with the public manifestation being the new website. Change is also on-going based on the results of a member survey conducted last year, which asked for suggestions of new ways ILA could serve its members.
Carine also noted that after 12 years on the Investment Fund Committee and five years running the Annual Fund Day, Mike Delano is set to follow governance best practices regarding tenure, and step down as Chair of the Committee. He will be succeeded by his partner at PwC, Andrea Montresori.
